3 bedroom House Extension with Planning Permission in Barford, Warwickshire 


We were approached by our clients who looking to refurbish and extend their existing detached three-bedroom thatched cottage in a rural Warwickshire village. 
The client wanted our advice on how to gain planning permission to remove the existing thatched roof and adjacent garage and provide space for a growing family. 


Our design added a two-storey side extension to the main house with an additional rear gable to reflect the design of the existing property with an additional side extension with a room in the roof space. We also added a detached triple garage to the property and new entrance gates to the driveway. 


The completed project resulted in a modern five-bedroom family home set in large gardens in a prominent location which still retained many of its original features such a small dormer windows and steep gable roofs.
