What we collect
- Details you give us when you email, phone or use a form on this site: your name, email address, phone number, property address and information about your project.
- Information needed to carry out a project: plans, photographs, title and planning documents, and billing details.
- Technical data collected automatically by our website host, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies.
How and why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal (legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To deliver our services and administer our contract with you, including invoicing (contract).
- To meet legal, tax and professional obligations (legal obligation).
- To keep our website secure and understand how it is used (legitimate interests, or consent where required for non-essential cookies).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
Only where needed, and only with: our website host and analytics provider (Squarespace); our email, storage and accounting providers; local planning and building control authorities, consultants and contractors working on your project (with your agreement); our insurers and professional advisers; and regulators or authorities where the law requires. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on appropriate safeguards.
Cookies
This site is hosted by Squarespace, which uses cookies that are necessary for the site to work and, where you agree, cookies for analytics. You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 12 months. Project records are kept for up to six years after the project ends, or longer where the law or our insurers require. We then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for access to your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. To use these rights, email us at the address above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
